Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 Build 20240325 rel.39241(4341)

I can't get IPv6 to work with Starlink on AX5400/Archer AX73. It seems to assign IPv6 address to my devices, but they don't work through IPv6 tests or respond to pings.

I've confirmed that when I connect directly to Starlink's router that IPv6 test websites succeed 100% through all devices (phone, pc) but when I run through my TP-Link router all IPv6 and ping tests fail.

Any idea why? I don't know much about this, but I read on https://starlink-enterprise-guide.readme.io/ that it uses a /56 prefix - and my router settings say /64. I wonder if that's a problem?

I will share a photo of my settings. I hope someone can help me, I would really like IPv6 to work!

Someone suggested I change the prefix to match the IPv6 address. I tried disabling prefix delegation, and changing FD9A:FE1F:C59A:14:: /64 to FD9A:FE1F:C59A:10:: /64  - but it says invalid format.

Hi  @lbuckley57,

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

Cable modem—Archer AX73 )))((( client devices  or  Cable modem—Starlink router—Archer AX73 )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

Your ISP should have provided the following info and additional credentials for logins: PPPoE, Dynamic IP (SLAAC/DHCPv6), Pass-Through (Bridge), and Static IP.

Note: You may have received this information when your first signed up with your ISP. Otherwise, please get in contact with the support team from your ISP as they can provide the information.

Have you configured IPv6 for Archer AX73 according to the IPv6 configuration information of Starlink router?
Are there any error messages when using the IPv6 network of AX73? Please provide relevant screenshots.
