Deco BE65 drop out and disconnects

Wifi connection drops randomly. Light turns red on Main Deco. Already upgraded to new firmware, however same issue, connection keeps dropping randomly.
Setup is behind ARRIS TG3442 Modem/router with WiFi switched off on the ARRIS. It is not in Bridge mode, but maybe that would be the problem?

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and patience.
Are you still having the current issue?
I noticed there was one more post:

Did AP help improve the network stability?
It is also suggested to refer to case one here:
Fix unstable connection when connected to the Deco network
Best regards.

@David-TP Hi David,
Thank you for your reply.
Well i did not put it in AP mode as I have 3 units and wonder what it will do with the network?
What I did though is put the DHCP assignment time on the Arris router to indefinite instead of "hourly" and that seems to have done the job.
However I want to be able to access my MacStudio from outside my home, hence the reason for a Static IP, and that's the issue I am having now as to how to do that. I was able with my previous set of WiFi pods, but have to find out still with these... Maybe you could help me out here?
Kind regards,
Dicky (cannot write my name correctly without the y as it is not accepted ;-)

Hi, Thank you very much for getting back to me.
Here are some details for your reference:
If you plan to set the Arris modem router into Bridge mode, you would need to copy the static IP settings(Gateway, DNS, IP Address, Subnet, DNS etc) you have requested from ISP to Deco BE65.
- Edit the Internet connection type under Deco APP>More>Internet>IPV4>Internet Connection type, and select "Static IP"
Note: if the ISP has bound this IP to the MAC of the Arris modem router, you could also refer to this link to copy the MAC address of Arris on Deco:
How to Configure MAC Clone on Deco if Deco fails to connect to the internet
If Arris stays in a normal DHCP modem, the port forwarding needs to be configured on both sides.
ISP----Arris modem router(192.168.0.xxx/24)----(192.168.0.253/24)Deco BE65(192.168.68.xxx/24)----local server(192.168.68.100:port 555)
- On the Arris router, you might need to open port 555 for the Deco IPV4 address 192.168.0.253 or you can just enable DMZ for the Deco IPV4 address.
- On the Deco, you need to open port 555 for local server 192.168.68.100.
Wait for your reply and best regards.
