Model: Deco X50-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: latest

My first layer of network consists in 3 decos x50, 1 x50-poe and 1 x50-outdoor. All of them have wifi issues when it comes to Dahua IP cameras. At first I thought it was a signal issue. But as I installed more I realized is not. My solution so far has being buying switches and connecting them through wires. But it hasn't being easy, for a lot of them I have to make trenches and bury the wire inside a conduit. Not to mention the expense of having to buy all the extra wire.

I'm going to just mention the part of my network that makes it obvious that is a wifi issue so as I don't make this huge. My outdoor deco is 90 meters away from the next deco that is inside the house. Last week I installed 4 cameras there. Located at 5 cm, 5 m, 20m and 40m away from the router. Initially they all connected fine. A few hours later they all disconnected but the 40m camera. On this routers when the cameras disconnect they stay disconnected even after a reboot of the router. The only thing that brings them back to life is power cycling the cameras. So far I wired the three closest ones. But the one 40m away  disconnected after 24 hours. I really don't want to wire this one as well. I have 2 more unwired cameras in the "deco house", and they are having the same issue.

After debugging, when I rebooted the cameras, I saw the deco app saying that the cameras where connected to the decos that where 90 meters away instead of the one that was right next to them. I disabled Fast Roaming, Beam forming, they are connected to the IOT network with the 5ghz band disabled, they have static ip through address reservation option, selected the correct router in connection preference and I disabled mesh connectivity on each camera. None of that made a difference.

The cameras are all brand new and released in 2024 by Dahua, not some old cameras. Farther away (200-300 meters) I have mikrotik routers and even an old tplink wr841n. They all work perfectly fine with wifi and this cameras. Only the decos are showing this issue.

Am I missing something? Is there any other way to debug why the cameras behave like this?
