iPhone's wifi stops working with Archer BE900 (BE24000)
iPhone's wifi stops working with Archer BE900 (BE24000)

I'm having trouble with iphone retaining internet connectivity with the BE900.
While wifi is working fine for other devices like my computer, the wifi stops working on our phones every now and then. In order to make it work again, I have to disconnect from the wifi from my phone and reconnect to it.
The phones are not using he 6GHz network.
This didn't happen with the old ISP's router.
I can't say for sure since I hadn't used it long, but I think this problem exaggerated after the latest firmware update.
Is this a bug or are there any settings in the router that aren't set up properly?

@Kevin_Z I tested Smart Connect with WPA2-PSK[AES] and everything works perfectly. Please let me know how it looks with the fix when setting up WPA3. Thank you.

@Padi_1 I cannot say for sure whether this is a permanent solution to the issue you encounter. Please monitor the situation and check if the issue will be back if you change the security back to WPA3-Personal+WPA2-PSK[AES] for 5G-2.
@SimonSorcerer Could you please also check if the issue can be fixed by changing the wireless security to WPA2-PSK[AES] on your BE900? Thank you.

@Kevin_Z After setting it back to WPA3 after a few hours the wifi froze. I switched back to WPA2 and will wait for the firmware fix. Currently I am using fw 1.1.5 and on iPhone 18.3.1.

@Padi_1 Thank you very much for the test.
Does the iPhone still connect to the 6G network stably? The 6G network doesn't support WPA2 security and it can only use WPA3. Could you please help confirm if the iPhone still has an issue with it?

@Kevin_Z On the 6G network I have the same problem as on 5G. Again, after a few hours, the wifi freezes. Unfortunately, WPA2 cannot be set on 6G, so I can't use it flawlessly.

@Kevin_Z
I switched to WPA2 and I still have connectivity issues both on the phone and on things like the Apple TV. Phone and Apple TV work in 2G/5G. While my computer seems to work fine on the 6G.
Unlike the previous issue this doesn't seem to always get fixed by reconneting to the wifi and sometimes it fixes itself, so it's a bit hard to pinpoint the problem.

Hi @SimonSorcerer,
For your issue, please try the following suggestions:
- Reboot your iPhone.
- Enable the guest network and connect the device to the guest network.
- Change the DNS server.
- Reset the device to factory default settings.
@SimonSorcerer Have you tried the suggestions provided by Joseph?
Additionally, could you please also verify more details asked by Joseph?
1. When the Wi-Fi connection is lost, please check what IP the iPhone gets? Reference: How to find IP address on your devices
2. At the same time, please install the app on the iPhone to ping the router and check if it can be pinged. How to Ping Your Network From an iPhone
3. Please disable MLO net work if you have set it.
4. If there are other routers or range extenders connected to the BE900, please remove them.
What are the models and iOS versions of the iPhones? Except for the iPhones and Apple TV, are all other non-apple devices working fine with the BE900?
Please provide as many details as you can, which will help us locate the issue efficiently. Thank you very much.
