Need Help with TP-Link Archer MR200 - After reset Password Issue
Hi everyone,
I’m having a strange issue with my TP-Link Archer MR200 v5.3 router, and I really need some help. Here's what’s happening:
- I recently reset the router to factory settings (something I’ve done plenty of times before).
- After the reset, the router is asking me for an password, but it’s not letting me create a new one like usual.
- I’ve tried all the following passwords:
admin
root
user
- My old admin password
- The Wi-Fi password written on the back of the router
None of these work!
-
I’ve also tried resetting the router again multiple times, but the issue persists.
-
The internet is working fine, but I can’t access the admin panel to change any settings or update the password.
-
I also tried logging in using my TP-Link ID, but I get a message saying "This router is not bound to the current TP-Link ID. Enter the router's login password to bind for management."
- There’s nothing on the back of the router about an admin or default password, just the PIN for the Wi-Fi.
The only thing that seems different this time is that I updated the firmware recently. Could that be causing the issue?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
