AX73 dropping wired connections
I'm having an issue where my AX73 drops all wired connections.
Wireless devices on 5ghz and 2.4Ghz stay connected and have internet connectioonbut all wired connections show as diconnected.
Currently have my ISP router in modem mode (Virgin) connected to the LAN port then ethernet cable from AX73 to a 24 port TP link unmanaged switch which then feeds all hard wired devices.
I have already changed out the switch for a new one and still having the issues about once a week

Hi,
Can I ask why you've connected your ax73 to your virgin router to your lan port on your ax73?
Unless I've misinterpreted something.
I'm on bt currently running 3 Ax72 routers plus 2x 24port tplink switches amd not experienced your issue.
I did help my friend who also is on virgin and I went from one of the lan ports of the virgin router( modem mode) to the wan port of the tp link router(AX55),
As far as I'm aware he's not had any issues and he has switches downlink from his ax55 aswell as a pair of C6 routers that are in AP mode

@Basboi85 sorry I meant the WAN port.
Virgin router to Archer WAN port then from LAN on Archer to 24 port switch
I'm not sure if I need to chance the DHCP reservation settings - wondering if something is conflicting or if the release time is too long.
I do have a lot of smart lamps on my network so wondering if that could be an issue.
Just seems strange how only hard wired devices are disconnected and everything via wifi stays on

Yea that is strange,
I've got quite a few tp link lamps and cameras on my 2.4g network, ( about 20 and soon to be adding more bulbs)
I do have multiple Ax72's though so I'm spreading the 2.4ghz wifi load on multiple units maybe about 30 devices,
Have you tried swapping the swtch lan cable to another port on your Ax73 to eliminate if that port is having any issues ? Or if it's possible to switch out the lan cable to the switch as the lan cable could possibly be going faulty?

@Basboi85 Yes all cables tested with professional cable tester from work
One thing i have thought is that my 2 nas drives reserve their IP themselves rather than being set by the AX73
Also, the smart bulbs are still being turned on and off by a switch rather than being constantly powered and controlled by alexa so they could be rejoining multiple timea and maybe filling the pool

Could be a possibility of clashes between the units🤷🏼♂️ maybe worth setting the nas units to a static ip and see what happens from there?
I feel your pain with the smart lights being switched on and off,
I have that same issue in my house especially with my autistic son.
however i have found a Work around that seems to have stopped him in his tracks where recently I bought some light switch covers off amazon
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BNM8H895?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Absolute game changer,
Bought 2 as a trial as didn't want to buy loads if they wouldn't work but now going to be ordering a bulk for every light switch in the house.

Hi @mthorniley,
If you have a lot of smart devices that need to use the network, you can consider setting 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz to different SSIDs, and then connect the smart devices to 2.4Ghz. You can also consider enabling 2.4Ghz guest network.
In addition, for the problem of wired devices not having network, please connect one or several wired client devices directly to different LAN ports of the router for comparison. In this way, you can first determine whether the problem comes from the LAN ports or from the switch.
If the problem comes from the switch, please tell me the specific model of the switch?

I've just logged into the router status page and found the DHCP page
This is what I have. Should I change the address pool size?
Am I right in thinking I'm limited to 53 devices with the current setup?

Your DHCP pool is wrong, you want to make it 192.168.0.112 - 192.168.0.253 as it stands right now. The gateway one needs to stay under 192.168.0.99.
You shouldn't be using any number under 100 for the last 3 digits as you've atm got both the router & client ip's in the same pool.
Also try extending the lease time to 24 hours rather than 2 hours.
You could also set the DNS to a different one to avoid the isp DNS, the most popular ones are 1.1.1.1 backed up secondary with 1.0.0.1 or 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 if you want to use Google servers.
