Before the update, the Liftmaster 828LM was connected directly to one of the LAN ports on the back of the BE550. The 828LM was listed as one of the connected clients on the older firmware.
After the update, the 828LM did not get an IP address from the BE550 when directly connected to it (i.e., the green status light on the 828LM does not stay on to indicate successful connection to the Internet). The 828LM is not listed on the connected clients list with the current (1.1.1) firmware.
There is no official documentation from Liftmaster specifying what LAN speed(s) it supports when connecting with the Ethernet cable. When I connect the 828LM on one of my old laptops (Thinkpad T430) with an Ethernet port, Windows 10 specified that the connection speed was 10 mbps. There is a Reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/kbd4j3/828lm_myq_no_longer_connecting/) that reports similar 10 mpbs Ethernet connection when connected to another device.
@snapper1357 Thank you very much for the clarification.
I will also escalate the case to our support engineers for further analysis. Please check your registered email for a follow-up.

Hello Kevin Thank you very much for the information, I will try this update as soon as possible and share my experience here.
I just want to share one thing I'm curious about. I was able to run speed tests on a few of my old VDSL modems from TP-Link, but I don't see the speed test app on this new router.
In fact, when I log in to the admin on the notebook, when I look at the source code below on the main screen, there is a field for speed test, but it is empty.
I wonder if the software team is planning to add this speed test app to this router?

It is the Archer AX3000 Pro. I have it and the BE550 connected to my AT&T gateway BGW320-505. My extenders are the RE815XE and the RE715X. I have turned off EasyMesh and did a full reset of the the AX3000 Pro as well as the extenders.
I have even unplugged the AX3000 pro and the extenders leaving the BE550 the only router running and when I try turning on EasyMesh in AP mode it gives me the message that there is another main router in my EasyMesh network. It asks me if I would like to continue and setup the BE550 as a Satellite router or cancel. If I do try to continue to setup as a Satellite router the process gets to 100% and then just hangs there and never completes. I am forced to do a reset on the BE550 and start over.
This only happens in AP mode. I tried turning on Eashmesh on in Wireless Router mode and it works fine. I am able to connect my extenders with no issues. I would rather run it in AP mode. The issue to me seems like it is a problem with the BE550 thinking there is another Main router on the network.
@Ken_Archer Thank you very much for your detailed information.
What if you try configuring IP Passthrough and DMZplus on the AT&T gateway BGW320-505 and making the BE550 the main router, would that work?

If you prefer to make the AT&T gateway BGW320-505 the main router and set the BE550 to AP Mode, I can escalate the case to our support engineers for further analysis. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
I prefer to keep the BE550 in AP Mode and the AT&T gateway as the main router. Can you please escalate the case to the support engineers.

@soundeluxe Could you please provide a screenshot of the source code on the router web page?
I checked with the engineering team and confirmed that BE550 doesn't have a built-in speed test server.

Hello Kevin @Kevin_Z . Sure, let me share the source code with you.
First of all, you can see the result when you type “Speed Test” in the search. But when I click on it, sends me to the first home page but there is nothing.
But when we look at the source code of the related empty field, we can see something.
I noticed that this function is not available at the moment, but will the engineers plan to add a speed test function in the future?
Thank you.

It seems that the problem with the Tether app and the display of data traffic usage has been found and fixed, at least for iOS.
I just received the update of the Tether app on iOS to version 4.9.14 (Build 726) and I can now see data traffic before 7 pm for today. The screenshot in the Tether app was taken on January 22, 2025 11:45 am.
And the amount of data is realistic, as are the clients that were online during that time according to the Tether app. I think I'll know more tomorrow, at least for iOS.
On Android it looks like this at 11:59 am, 14 minutes after the iOS screenshot.

Thank you very much for the quick update. I'm glad to hear that the Traffic Usage Overview issue has been fixed on the latest Tether App.
I will request the development team to review and make sure the same fix will be included on the Android App as well.

Thank you very much for the screenshots as well.
I assume that the software code may be inherited from other models, which may explain the presence of certain code interfaces. However, these interfaces were not made available during development. I cannot say for sure whether this will be open in future updates at this time.

Hello
Just updated my Archer BE550 router to 1.1.1 Build 20241230 rel.20267(4555) version firmware and found that my local network devices can't normally connect via Wi-Fi as before. I have 4 active SSIDs with 2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz and 2.4GHz guest. Before update to the latest firmware version, my laptop was connected to 6GHz SSID and I did not see any connection issues. After update, my laptop can't normally connect to 6GHz SSID and automatically re-connecting to the other one with 5GHz. Same issue with my smarthphone. Before router's firmware update it was connected to 5GHz SSID and after update I'm unable to connect to 5GHz at all, because my smartphone always automatically re-connecting to 2GHz.
