I have updated my firmware to my BE550 and I am trying to setup EasyMesh in AP mode. When I try enabling EasyMesh in AP mode it tells me another router is working as the Main router and I can add the BE550 as a Satellite router instead. The problem is there is no other Main Router enabled. I am running an older AX3000 and I have turned off EasyMesh on it and i have reset all of my extenders. Is this an issue with the firmware?

Unfortunately, the display in the Tether app has not changed overnight. The screenshots in the Tether app were all taken on January 18, 2025 in the morning, from 10:45 am to 10:47 am. (time zone GMT+1) However, the Tether app shows data traffic for January 18, 2025 in the evening from 7 pm to 9 pm.
The devices listed in the overall data traffic overview with data traffic of several GB have not been switched on today and are not connect to the network or intenret.
@GrenSo Thank you very much for the detailed description.
I will forward this to the development team to review the firmware. We will follow up via a support email, so please check your inbox.

Mu-Mimo can't enable, keep reverting even not on smart connect
Does it work before this update on the BE550?
Are there other EasyMesh extenders or satellite devices connected to the BE550? Please try disconnecting them and confirm again if you can enable MU-MIMO.
Please provide more details about the issue you're experiencing. Thank you.

After upgrading to the 1.1.1 firmware, one of my Ethernet devices (Liftmaster 828LM) is no longer being recognized by the BE550 router. The 828LM is unable to connect to the Internet when directly wired to the BE550 router. This is a device that apparently only supports 10Base-T (10 mbps) via Ethernet cable. My workaround at this time is to attach the 828LM's Ethernet cable to an older router (Archer C7 with wifi turned off) and then connect the older router to one of the BE550's LAN port with another Ethernet cable.
Before this update, how is the Liftmaster 828LM connected to the BE550?
After the update, will the Liftmaster 828LM still get a valid IP address from the BE550 when connecting it directly to the BE550?
BTW, where do you verify that the Liftmaster 828LM only supports 10Base-T (10 mbps) via Ethernet cable? Could you please provide a link for that specification?
Thank you very much.

What is the specific model number of the old AX3000, is it Archer AX50 or Archer AX55? What are the models of the EasyMesh extenders?
Thank you.

@GrenSo Thank you very much for the detailed description.

Thank you for that.
By the way, I was also able to test the Tether app on iOS 18.2.1, on which the Tether app has version 4.8.12 (Build 668) and there is the same problem, as you can see in the screenshot. Additionally, you can clearly see here that the Tether app must be in a different time zone, eastern from Germany, since it is already showing data traffic for tomorrow, January 21, 2025. The screenshots in the Tether app (iOS and Android) were all taken on January 20, 2025 in the morning, from 11:02 am to 11:03 am. (time zone GMT+1).
iOS:
Android:
Only on some islands of New Zealand or Kiribati it is already January 21, 2025, when in the time zone GMT +1 it is still January 20, 2025 at 11:03 am.

It is the Archer AX3000 Pro. I have it and the BE550 connected to my AT&T gateway BGW320-505. My extenders are the RE815XE and the RE715X. I have turned off EasyMesh and did a full reset of the the AX3000 Pro as well as the extenders.
I have even unplugged the AX3000 pro and the extenders leaving the BE550 the only router running and when I try turning on EasyMesh in AP mode it gives me the message that there is another main router in my EasyMesh network. It asks me if I would like to continue and setup the BE550 as a Satellite router or cancel. If I do try to continue to setup as a Satellite router the process gets to 100% and then just hangs there and never completes. I am forced to do a reset on the BE550 and start over.
This only happens in AP mode. I tried turning on Eashmesh on in Wireless Router mode and it works fine. I am able to connect my extenders with no issues. I would rather run it in AP mode. The issue to me seems like it is a problem with the BE550 thinking there is another Main router on the network.

Before the update, the Liftmaster 828LM was connected directly to one of the LAN ports on the back of the BE550. The 828LM was listed as one of the connected clients on the older firmware.
After the update, the 828LM did not get an IP address from the BE550 when directly connected to it (i.e., the green status light on the 828LM does not stay on to indicate successful connection to the Internet). The 828LM is not listed on the connected clients list with the current (1.1.1) firmware.
There is no official documentation from Liftmaster specifying what LAN speed(s) it supports when connecting with the Ethernet cable. When I connect the 828LM on one of my old laptops (Thinkpad T430) with an Ethernet port, Windows 10 specified that the connection speed was 10 mbps. There is a Reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/kbd4j3/828lm_myq_no_longer_connecting/) that reports similar 10 mpbs Ethernet connection when connected to another device.

@Ken_Archer Thank you very much for your detailed information.
What if you try configuring IP Passthrough and DMZplus on the AT&T gateway BGW320-505 and making the BE550 the main router, would that work?
https://www.att.com/support/smallbusiness/article/smb-internet/KM1188700/
If you prefer to make the AT&T gateway BGW320-505 the main router and set the BE550 to AP Mode, I can escalate the case to our support engineers for further analysis. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
