Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

We had a massive storm last night and lost power for 4 hours.  This morning we found we had no internet.  After troubleshooting I found that one ethernet port on my main router was fried.  After switching to another port we got internet again, but one of the satellites is not connecting, either over internet of wifi.

I realise it's likely the satellite unit is toast, but are there any steps I can take to try get it back?  Also, It's so lomg since I set it up I can't recall if all units are the same of if there is a difference between the main and satellites?  I think not going to be worth claiming insurace, so will probably be needing to but new units.  Would you recommend getting the same, or a newer unit?

Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the community.

You can refer to this link to find the model number of the satellite Deco:

How to find the hardware and firmware version of my TP-Link device

Can I have more details about how the satellite Deco stopped working?

After that, please refer to the following suggestions:

1. Please hold the reset pinhole for 1s to check whether it could revert to blinking blue.

-If yes, After that, you could refer to this link to add it back to the Deco APP-How to add an additional unit to your Deco network

Wait for your reply and best regards.
