Hello,

The OpenVPN feature is relatively easy to setup, if one accepts that the TLS Support is outdated. The more serious problem is that the DNS is not working for devices connected to the router. So, if I have a PC named "myPC", I can connect locally with \\myPC\, or http://myPC in a web browser. Both work just fine.

When I connect to the router over the internet using OpenVPN, this local name is not resolved. Instead I have to use a numeric IP Address. The DNS Service is correctly shown using nslookup, like 192.168.1.1, and external web site names resolve correctly. Only local names like \\myPC\, or http://myPC no longer work. Why is that, and is there a way to fix this?

Notes:

I have tested the PC connected over OpenVPN by disabling name resolution fallback via google, so I know that the dns of the router is doing something, just not resolving names known only to itself . The OpenVPN client does not use the hosts file, so I cannot fix it there either.
