X50 Outdoor upgrading
Deco App keeps saying that my remote X50 Outdoor has a new firmware 1.2.14 build 20241015 rel. 45922 available.
My current version is 1.2.8 build 20240914 rel. 35513
When i do the upgrade, i see the download and the install but the unit never upgrades, it stays at 1.2.8. Did a reboot of device, tried again no success.
Deco is remote, so I tried hard wire (Ethernet), no success.
Tried upgrade via iPad Deco app, no success.
Tried upgrade via cell phone (Android) Deco app, no success.
Has anyone else seen this issue too?

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
I checked the pushed new firmware and 1.2.14 seems to be the new firmware version for Deco XE75_V2, not for Deco X50-Outdoor.
Could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log:
Wait for your reply and best regards.

Thank you very much for the APP logs.
The case has been reported to the senior engineers for further analysis. I will post here once there is a further update from the engineer.
Thanks again and best regards.

@David-TP Hi David
I hope you are keeping well .
just a quick question , and one I'm sure you've been asked, but if you could humour me please
I have an x50-5g as my master ( wan fttp ) latest beta 1.2.1 , 7 x50 Poe satellites 1.4.4 and an x50-outdoor 1.2,8
im using the 1.2.1 beta on the x50-5g ( which works brilliantly) and the 1.4.4 on the satellites to allow wifi scheduling and eco mode , obviously with the 1.2.8 on the outdoor not being compatible with wifi scheduling etc if I plug it in I loose that functionality, as a result I've currently got it unplugged and not used . Could you give me any idea as to when the outdoor and 1.2.8 will have updated firmware for wifi scheduling so I can use it again. Also would it be possible to have a kill / on, off function on the app for the x5-outdoor as I'm sure others like myself have it mounted outdoors for internet / network access in the garden etc , but only require this during the summer months , disconnecting it during the winter and bringing it indoors , but as a result the app looks for it and reports it ( obviously) not online and sees it as a fault , when in fact its intended. It would be nice to be able to log it off the app with a toggle when not in use so it doesn't show the offline banner . Just a thought .
kind regards
Alick
