X50 Outdoor
X50 Outdoor
Hello.
Ive installed some x50 outdoors for different customers.
the problem ive seen twice is that the x50 reports offline on the app while its still working and it is green light in reality.
the combination in both instances is a M5 with version 1.6.5 as a base connected to another M5 with powerline and other M5's connected wirelessly to the base and the X50 outdoor also wirelessly to the base.
the brand of the powerline is dlink(i know about the dlink switxhes)
the problem it is that works flawlessly for some days then suddenly it reports offline usually for about 24-48Hrs then starts to report back online.
rebooting from distance the Bases dosnt help, only solution to reboot the x50 by unplugging it.

Deco X50-Outdoor_V1

Some users might find Deco X50-Outdoor works flawlessly for some days, then suddenly report offline on the APP while it's still working and it is a green light in reality. Usually, a manual restart of Deco X50-Outdoor could make it online on the Deco APP.

The Official firmware 1.2.3 and above has fixed this issue already. Please make sure your firmware is up-to-date.

@akapal Hi, I would report to the engineers to see whether they could reproduce the same issue.
By the way, have you ever tested for the customers whether the mobile devices were able to get internet service from Deco X50-outdoor when it is offline on the Deco APP?
@Lexivienna Nice to see you again and I see your support ticket has been forwarded to the engineers. It would be highly appreciated if you could cooperate with him for further assistance.
@PablitoB Hi, Is your Deco X50-outdoor also wirelessly connected to the main Deco X60?(if via Ethernet cable, Do you use a POE switch? Can I have the model of the switch?)
Could you please help me check the following details as well: whether the mobile devices were able to get internet service from Deco X50-outdoor when it is offline on the Deco APP?
Could you please refer to this link to help me submit the APP log:
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

goodmorning
i cannot be completely sure because i have to rely on the customers answers, but they say they have a normal connection.
the X50 outdoor is powered in both cases via the included power cable.
other X50 outdoors without the powerline somewhere else in the network dosnt suffer from this issue.
take note that it takes some days for this issue to arrise.
thank you

Hi.
Yes the X50 outdoor is connected via Ethernet through a TP-Link TL-SG1005LP PoE switch connected to an X60, which in turn is connected to the router (Virgin Media Hub 3 in modem mode). Everything remains connected when it is showing off line,I have 28 iot's connected to the outdoor, mostly cameras and tapo smart sockets, nothing drops off the internet connection including the phone. I have checked many times, so the deco remains connected and everything with it but it shows disconnected in the app.
Kind regards

My deco x50-outdoor Ver. 1.0.1 build 20230105
Exactly the same problem with x50-outdoor. disappears from the deco application after 24-48 hours. while continuing to work. Connected via poe. There are also 3 points x20 in the network. I went to the point through the web interface, these are the errors in the logs.
