Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210804 Rel.46439n

I have saved the correct profile and APN settings repeatedly but the router keeps defaulting to an incorrect setting for no apparent reason. Is there a way to secure a new default profile setting?

Hi, welcome to our community.

If the router keeps defaulting to incorrect profile and APN setting, what is the result? The router stopped working and you need to reboot it?

Please share more details with screenshots if possible for better understanding.

And it is suggested to upgrade firmware(local upgrade) to latest first according to the official website.

Thank you and best regards.

@Marvin_S thanks for the welcome and comments. I checked the firmware, it's up to date. The settings appear to default to MTN every time when the MTN signal is lost and resumed, the service provider is Axxess via MTN. When this happens I have to login to the router and change the settings from MTN to Axxess to be able to connect again. Here are the screen shots, the first one shows the MTN setting which does not work (the shot only shows "connected" because I did not save the setting). The second screen shot shows the correct setting. Many thanks for your interest and best wishes.

Hi, thanks for your update.

If you opened the official website I shared, you will see the latest firmware is Archer MR600(EU)_V2_240716, so that is the reason why we suggested local upgrade.

And it is a pity that we can only see one screenshot in your reply.

If you take the sim card out of the router and put it in your phone, can the internet work stably?

When the internet stopped working again, it is suggested to log into web UI of the router to check IP address, and troubleshooting follow this guide:
Troubleshooting guide of no internet access with TP-Link Wireless 4G LTE Router working as 3G/4G Router Mode
