Wireless works, ethernet port doesn't.

Brand new. Wireless (2.4 and 5 GHz) works great, but the only problem is ethernet not working. Trying to connect the extender to my PC, the port on the extender itself doesn't light up, on my motherboard, it does. Switched the cable around, didn't work, tried a different one, didn't work, rebooted the extender, didn't work. Factory reset? Or just take it back to the shop?

Hi,
I am not certain what you are expecting to light up on the extender's port? (as per my knowledge, only up to hardware version V3 should the RE450 have Ethernet indicator LEDs, but not the V4 model)
I suggest you try the following before ultimately deeming your RE450 to be faulty.
1) reset the RE450 to factory defaults, to be sure it is in a clean state
2) ensure the network card of your PC is configured to obtain an IP address automatically
3) connect the Ethernet cable between the RE450 and your PC
4) open a web browser on the PC and enter the address http://192.168.0.254 into the address bar
If the admin webpage doesn't open, then the Ethernet port of the RE450 might indeed be faulty.

@woozle Yeah, I don't think it's working. Factory reset multiple times. Cannot get an ethernet connection at all. I'll file for a replacement.
