Wi-Fi devices are disconnecting frequently from AX73 V2
Wi-Fi devices like phones, tablets & PC are randomly getting disconnected from the router. It seems like the router is getting frozen up. I need solution as soon as possible.

Hi@Subhrajit_P,
Here are some suggestions may help you:
· Check for Interference: Ensure there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices (like microwaves or cordless phones) interfering with the Wi-Fi signal.
· Change Wi-Fi Channel: If you are using the 2.4 GHz band, try switching to a different channel. Tools like Wi-Fi Analyzer can help identify less crowded channels.
Changing Channel and Channel Width on a TP-Link Router (new logo) For 2.4GHz, channels 1, 6 and 11 are generally best, but any channel can be used. For 5GHz, we recommend you use channel in Band 4, which is channel 149-165, if your router supports it.
· QoS Settings: Check if Quality of Service (QoS) settings are enabled. If they are, try adjusting or disabling them to see if performance improves.
· Review Connected Devices: Disconnect any unnecessary devices to see if performance improves. Sometimes, too many connected devices can strain the router.
· Factory Reset: If issues persist, consider performing a factory reset on the router. This can resolve configuration issues but will erase all custom settings.

Hi @Subhrajit_P,
There are a few different cases related with unstable connection, including WAN connection unstable and wireless client devices unstable.
For WAN connection unstable (Router Internet LED turns red/orange occasionally):
1) Connect a PC directly into your modem to verify if your ISP Internet is stable.
2) Make sure the Ethernet cable between your modem and the Router is connected properly, replaced old cables with new ones.
3) Change the DNS Server of the Router, login the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Network > Internet > Advanced Settings, change the two DNS Servers into 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8. How to Change the DNS servers on the wireless router and DSL modem router (New UI)?
4) Go to Advanced > System > Firmware Update to upgrade the firmware of the Router. How to Upgrade the Firmware on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers?
For wireless client devices unstable:
1) Make sure the Router is properly placed, it should be put in open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.
2) Login the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, change the wireless channel into another one.
3) For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust 2.4GHz channel width into 20MHz, for 5G wireless client devices, adjust 5GHz channel width into 80MHz or 40MHz to avoid interference.

@Joseph-TP My internet connection is stable and fast. The ethernet cable between my XPON and router is good. I use the exact DNS config as mentioned here.
AX73 V2 is running the latest firmware. My devices are doing alright with other router but AX73 is lagging randomly.
