I have a 300 Mbps internet connection and use the TP-Link Archer C80 router. After approximately 8-9 hours of usage, the internet speed drops significantly to around 90-100 Mbps. However, when I unplug and replug the WAN cable, the speed restores to 300 Mbps temporarily before the cycle repeats.

Could this be due to a firmware or hardware-related issue? Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, and are there any permanent solutions to prevent the speed drop?

Let me know if additional information is required.

Hi  @HimanshuRahi,

When the issue occurs, please log in to the web interface of router. Please check what is the negotiation speed of WAN, LAN port?

Go to Network Map-->Archer C80-->Ethernet Status

Auto-negotiation allows a port on a router to communicate with the wired device to determine the optimal duplex mode and speed for the connection.
To enable the Auto-Negotiation on the internet port, Please log into your router's web management page by visiting: https://tplinkwifi.net
Then go to Advanced->Network->Internet-> Internet Port Negotiation Speed Setting and select "Auto-Negotiation". You can also set the port to "1000Mbps Full Duplex".
