3420 not switching back to WAN

Hi,
I have my 3420 on WAN preferred..
I see most of the time my router remains on 3G/4G mode.. :(
then i have to go to admin page and make it back to WAN mode manually and then router connects to WAN mode.. meaning even if WAN mode is available, my router remains on 3G/4G mode (does not switch over to WAN mode automatically)..
this consumes my costly 3G/4G account and my 3G/4G account is such that after some gb consumed it comes to very slow 64 kbps.. so despite my WAN mode available my router not switching to WAN mode automatically is a BIG problem for me.. :( :( :(
Please help me how can i correct this..
