I was recently gifted this device from a friend in UAE
The device was working perfectly fine,

I came here to Bahrain i was using the device normally until i updated my device to official firmware from the website.

After the update the Device is Showing No Service and signal bars with an X

But the internet is still working, wifi, speed, usage evrything is working perfectly fine.

I tried updating again, tried with another sim....it still shows no service

I just want to know how can i get my device to show the network signals :(

you mean your device just can't show the network signals while works normally such as providing wifi and so on?
if so,it's really not a big deal,because you can use M5350 normally despite just a signal showing problem......

Ouch i plan to upgrade but when i see this post i doubt to do so....

tplink team please fix and explain this...

Same issue and
When default profile "(D)" is set and then before connecting, set network type, 3g and then save, the modem show the signal and "D" on LCD.

Other Question:
How to set default profile name?
How to set default dial up number (*99#) ?

Email to TP-LINK Technical Support with following information as I was told by them that it can be fixed in next firmware. I hope so...
