I was afraid to install the beta version because people here are talking about problems, but I wanted to connect my Tapo bulbs and everything works fine for me. CPU sometimes shows 100% usage, but why should I care? It's there to be used. It's 16h after the update and I haven't found any issues. I like the new options (eg IoT WiFi) in the Deco app :D

I have tried your solution, but when i try to put my deco x50-5G in recovery mode it starts up, flashes two times green and then stays solid red.
Edit: nevermind. I was just impatient with pressing the reset button.
Edit 2: i downgraded successfully to 1.1.7 - without losing my settings.
Update: to be honest i am really pssed at that shtbox of router... Although I'm on 1.1.7 it keeps randomly restarting. The router is in my sleeping room and i can hear the fan starting on every restart. On my smartphone i can see how the connection drops, then reconnects, but with no internet connection, then restarts, no internet, yes internet, restart and so on.
