I am also facing the same issue.

I have upgraded the firmware to 3.15.2 Build 130326 Rel.58517n which the latest firmware available on TP-Link site.

Still the Airtel 4G dongle shows as identified, shows up connected but cannot connect to Internet.
I went to the diagnostic menu on the router and tried to ping google,com, both the domain as well as with the ip, but the ping does not go through. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I can connect to internet when the dongle is directly connected to my laptop.

I have the same issues , unable to use my TP-Link MR3040 router with airtel 4g LTE data card (Huawei E3276), it not connecting to net when plugged to MR3040 router. but datacard works well on Laptop.

Kindly release the fix ASAP. we have invested a good amount to these hardwares.

I'm using TP link 3040 3G/4G Router with Airtel 4G Dongle(model: HUAWEI E3272) :)
This is what I did to make it work.
Go to Router settings >> System Tools >> Factory Defaults >> Restore.
Wait to reboot. After that plug in the dongle and wait...[B][/B]

Has anyone found a solution to this? I got the 4G modem and was about to place an order for the router, but if it is not going to work, I don't want to waste my money and time. Thanks.
