Help needed with TP-Link AC1300 High Gain USB 3.0 Wi-Fi Dongle
I purchased this dongle a month or so ago - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B084WBTTN6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
Up until a week or so ago it had been working great. Then I began to get pages not loading/spinning intermittently and 'unable to resolve DNS' notifications despite the tray icon indicating that I was still connected to the WiFi. I would then need to manually disconnect via the Wifi icon in the tray and reconnect again, it would resolve the issue for around 10 minutes before it happened again.
So, I tried every USB port on my machine, I've also uninstalled the device including drives completely and reinstalled it and the problem still rears its head eventually, these all seem to be temporary fixes to an as yet unidentified issue. I'm tearing my hair out now because I'll be setting up some of my scripts that run over night only to find they've encountered endless network errors because of these issues.
Here is a screenshot from the events log in the settings of the device, you can see the cycle that I am stuck in with it (device configured, device not started (problems are present), delete, uninstall, reinitiate, problems go away for a bit) - https://i.imgur.com/esLH9au.png
Any and all suggestions would be most welcome!
