Airtel ZTE MF825A dongle with TP-LINK router is working
2014-11-19 01:32:58
Purchased the router today
Hardware Version: MR3020 v1 00000000
Firmware Version: 3.17.2 Build 140610 Rel.65031n (Latest, this was factory loaded into my router)
Dongle: Airtel 4G (ZTE 825A)
Initial problem faced was that after connecting the dongle, I couldn't connect to the router using the default IP (192.168.0.254).
I was able to connect to the router using IP 192.168.1.1 through LAN cable.
Next issue is that dongle was not blinking, it was glowing solid green (i.e. 4G is detected but, dongle is in disconnected state)
To fix this issue, follow the below steps,
1) Connect dongle to PC
2) Copy the below link to IE browser and run it (this will enable auto-dial in the dongle)
http://192.168.0.1/goform/goform_set_cmd_process?goformId=SET_CONNECTION_MODE&ConnectionMode=auto_dial
3) After this your dongle will connect automatically as soon as you connect to the PC (The above modified code for connection inside the dongle)
After performing the above, as soon as you connect the dongle to the router, it will start blinking.
As of now it is working fine and I am able to connect to my both laptop & mobile
Note:
I haven't set any user name and password settings in my dongle settings. So left these options blank while configuring the router
You can find the dial in number and APN in the advanced settings of the dongle when you connect it via PC (*99# and airtelgprs.com). There will be two Airtel options available in the router settings with DIFFERENT dial in numbers. Make sure you select the correct one.
You can find details regarding auto dial option in the below website,

Firmware issue
2014-11-20 16:05:44
Hi
I have a number of MR3220v2 running with MF823 that seem to be much like MF825.
I discovered that running firmware 3.15.2 everything works stable. With 3.17.1 it's not working.
This might be an advice worth sharing on the compatibility list.

Re:Airtel 4G LTE: ZTE MF825A incompatible with MR3020

Yeah, useful guide. It solved my friend's problem. The Tplink still don't update the firmware version to support ZTE MF825A. You could view this steps to make it work. If you want to buy another 4G modem for MR3020 router, you could take
sierra aircard 320u, E398 and more modems in this list
http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/3g-comp-list/?model=TL-MR3020&location=1144 into consideration.

Visit Verona on Segway
2018-09-28 00:05:54
Romeo & Juliette made this town famous for millions of English students, but the city has more than just a balcony and two star crossed lovers. Verona is an amazing town to visit as the Arena still holds concerts ranging from Opera to Pearl Jam and with churches and castles spotted all around is well worth a few nights stay. Experience historic Verona from a unique perspective on a 1-hour Segway tour. Glide through the historic center with a tour leader and informative audio guide. See monuments such as the Arco dei Gavi, Castelvecchio, Porta Borsari and Casa di Giulietta.
