Hi,

Even a computer that only has a LAN connection should show a network icon in the taskbar of Windows 11. If there is none, then something is not right with your installation of Windows 11.

Anyway, you can try to access and connect the Wi-Fi via the "Settings" menu. Click the "Wi-Fi" menu and then "Show available networks".

If that menu also doesn't exist despite your Archer T2U being plugged in, then please report back here.

@ClausBille   Thanks for the reply. As you can see, I don't have that menu item. ggfdfgdfg

That is indeed very weird.

So, in the Device Manager you have something like a "TP-Link Wireless USB Adapter" or "TP-Link Wireless Nano USB Adapter" showing up in the section "Network adapters" and there is no mark of any kind attached to the icon in front if it, right?

Then this issue must be related to Windows 11 itself, I think.

On a computer that has no Wi-Fi adapter and only an Ethernet adapter the combined Network/Sound icon and pop-up should look like shown in the picture below.

If that is not the case on yours, then perhaps something has got messed up in your installation of Windows 11. Another possibility could be that this computer is managed by an administrator of an organisation who has setup some group policy to prevent users from adding non-authorized network connections.

Hi

Thanks for the help, but I haven't gotten it to work.

I'll close this thread, but start another thread based on the fact that my print was working before I switched to Deco.

That's why I bought a USB WiFi
