unable to connect to network
Need a little help please, I recently purchased an Archer AX72 modem and all worked well to start, however it has recently started to randomly disconnect devices from the wireless network, (3 ipads, 2 iphones, & 1 hisence tv, so not all apple devices), attempting to reconnect the device it will find the network but a message will come up 'unable to connect to network', i have tried several fixes including removing the private WIFI address from the device & resetting the modem (including a factory reset) but to no avail. If I turn off/on the device or reset the device network settings it will reconnect to the network for a short period before disconnecting again. The wired network works fine, the wired internet connection to the NBN box is strong (upto 200mbps download with a low latency), & the WIFI network also tests as strong. Pretty sure it's not a ISP or Apple issue & have run out of ideas; any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Dave

Hi @Dave_Kiwi
Please double-check other devices can get wireless connection via router normally? If only one or some of your devices can access the internet, but other devices like iPhone and iPad can't connect to the internet, please try the below:
1. Please connect the Ethernet cable from your modem or internet service provider to the Router's WAN port.
2. Check if the router has configured a parental control profile and remove the device from the profile.
3. For wired devices:
1) Connect the device to other LAN ports instead of the IPTV port you configured//set up earlier on the router.
2) Change the Ethernet cable.
3) Switch to another LAN port on the router or the device.
3. For wireless devices:
1) Enable the guest network and connect the device to the guest network.
2) Enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on a phone and connect the device to the hotspot WI-FI. Please reach out the device support if this doesn't work.
4. Change the DNS server: Change the DNS Servers on a TP-Link Wireless Router
5. Reboot the iPhone and iPad.

Hi thanks for the reply & your suggestions, sadly no success. The wireless network only is the issue; devices will not connect to the guest network, restarting the ipad & iphone works for an hour or two but then back to the connection troubles (factory reset the smart TV but didn't make any difference) . Hotspot works. DNS settings no luck. If I factory reset the router all devices connect no problem but then back to to the ususal issues after an hour or two. What I find interesting is that I have a wireless network extender in my shed (about 30m from the house), weak signal at the house not not much good but the troubled devices will connect to this network. At the suggestion of a friend I changed the IOS settings (using the Tether app) to match my providers download/upload speeds, still no luck but I noticed these settings revert back on their own? I'm still at a loss, any further suggestions would be appreciated. Many thnaks, Dave

Hi,
Can you please give more information about that wireless network extender? (like make, model, firmware)
There have been some range extender models made by TP-Link that had a bug in their firmware that resulted in issues like you've described. (i.e. devices connected to the main router loose connection when the range extender is added to the network)
