Model: Archer BE230
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20240912 rel.12553(5553)

I have both Tplink BE230 configured in EasyMesh with Ethernet (one at ground floor and another one at first floor).

Here i have done the setting to the main router
1. Enabled AP isolation

2. Enabled IoT wifi network and connect to my tapo smart devices

3. Enabled guest wifi network

4. Hide the main wifi network 2.4ghz

However, I found the satellite router does not fully replicate from the main router. I am still able to ping the devices which connected to satellite router,

Also the Tapo smart devices and guest still connect to the main router instead. Last, the hidden 2.4ghz wifi network still visible from my phone at first floor.

Hi  @SimTech,

Currently, the TP-Link EasyMesh only supports extending 2.4G & 5G. And most 6G-Supported WiFi 7 Routers also support extending 6G network. However, MLO/IoT/Guest Wi-Fi can't be extended in an EasyMesh network. So if your iot devices include Tapo, if you are using a guest network or iot network, they will all be connected to the main router

Regarding AP isolation, after you enable this function, can the devices connected to the main router still access each other? Or can you ping the client under the main router?

Is the satellite router placed on the first floor? Has the phone that can detect the main network manually added the 2.4G band before? If I forget the WiFi and refresh it, will it still be displayed?
