I am a new member of this forum.
I bought a second hand router TPlink AC 1750 C7 to configure it to accespoint in my garage, so I have a better wifi connection for software update of my electric car.

Everything went well until now. For security reasons, I want to use the AP only for my car, I have opened a Guest network and want to secure this guest link via the whitelist by entering the MAC adres of my car.

But since I have configured the accespoint mode, I cannot enter in the advanced mode anymore. Is there a possibity? Or do I have to start again from the beginning. and make the guest netwok with the whitelist, before I configure the router to accespointmode?

When in AP mode the device doesn't show its advanced menu but some of its features configured in router mode still work in AP mode - details.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".
