I tried this but the VR2800 does not have this access point option under advanced and operation mode.

TP link now says I can't use this model as an access point.

Hi,

 

There are two methods to configure it as access point.

 

For the device which has access point mode, you can change to it and configure.

 

While for the device which does not support Access Point mode, you can configure manually.

 

First, change the IP address to the same subnet as the main router, then relogin and disable DHCP server, change wifi settings if you want. 

 

You can watch the video, it introduces 2 methods together.
