Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.14

The router loses connection. I pinged Google with the cable directly connected to the modem for two days and there were no losses. Meanwhile I did the same through the router and several times a day the router disconnects. At times it works well and the pings respond well (3 hours). Until it hangs and starts to respond poorly for a while, it hangs several times in a row and when it reconnects the response times are erratic, going from 0.700ms to 300ms between one and the other. I have already applied the suggestions in other threads but I did not see that in any of them there is a concrete answer. I put the Google DNS, changed the position of the router vertically to avoid overheating, I also changed the cables for new ones and updated the firmware to 1.0.14 which is the latest. The router has been in use for 3 years and I had not noticed this problem until a few weeks ago. I saw several threads with this problem with this router but without concrete answers or solutions if someone has a solution I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Sometimes the router has internet and the pings respond but the admin panel at 192.168... does not respond. It seems like it is stuck.

 Hi @Diegomar ,

Thanks for troubleshooting that you have done.

Please log in the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, change the wireless channel into another one.
For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust 2.4GHz channel width into 20MHz, for 5G wireless client devices, adjust 5GHz channel width into 80MHz or 40MHz to avoid interference.
If the issue persists, please contact your local support with the result of the above troubleshooting steps and warranty consultation.

Hi joseph..!!

I changed the wifi channel and the problem persists. In fact, the computer and other devices that I have connected to the LAN also lose connection. Regarding calling local support, I wanted to clarify that I have had the router for several years (3) and it is not under warranty.I changed the wifi channel and the problem persists. Hi  @Diegomar,

It seems that the router may have hardware problems, which may be caused by its aging. It may also be that there is interference in your current usage environment. Can you compare other routers in the same environment to see if there is the same situation? If not, then it is indeed a problem with the router. It is recommended that you consider buying a new router.

I find it strange that a router that has been used for 3 years starts to work badly. It seems like planned obsolescence. I will probably buy another router and it will probably not be from this brand. It is a shame because I liked this brand for its speed but I cannot go around changing routers every 3 years. Thank you.
