Archer BE230 / BE3600 compatible witch DS-Lite?
Hello community,
is the BE230 compatible with the German DS-Lite?
I can connect to the internet with ipv6 but can't find any setup for tunnelling or sth. else.

Hi,
If you are able to connect to the Internet successfully, then it means DS-Lite is working.
The fact that most of the router's special features don't support IPv6 is not actually related to DS-Lite. Even if one has a full IPv4/IPv6 connection and the menus for all features are shown in the GUI, those features are still only usable via IPv4, but not IPv6.
Unfortunately, router manufactures in general have been very slow in implementing comprehensive support for IPv6 in their routers.

Yes, you're right, wouldn't be no thing if internet works.
My problem is, that I only get an ipv6 and no ipv4 with this router. My ISP provide ipv4 through ipv6 and I can't find the right setup in the menu of the BE230.
The BE550 recently get a beta update to provide DS-lite. I worried the same incompatibilty is the fact with the new BE230.

Ok, I understand.
Is "DS-Lite" selectable as Internet Connection Type on your BE230 ?
What happens if you run the command "ping -4 www.tp-link.com" on a computer that is connected to the BE230 ?

@Steve_axolotl which ISP and modem do you have? As far as I know, DS-Light is usually only sold with a cable connection in Germany and there you usually don't just get a modem from the ISP.

Unfortunatly there is no DS-Lite-Option for the connection:
With this IPv6 setup the connection works, but only for ping -6 (timeout with ping -4)
With IPv6 set to PPPoE, the internet connection type in the page "internet" can also be PPoE, and Dynamic IP works too. Means that I get an IPv6 both ways.
I have a fiber connection, ISP is 1&1.
They sent a Modem / ONT with a 2.5Gb/s RJ45, I didn't take the Home Server (fritzbox).
I bought the BE230 due to the double 2.5Gbps connector, I would like to upgrade from 1Gb-internet to 2 Gb as soon as possible.

Could you please tell me how did you connect the Modem / ONT and the BE230? The Fritzbox is not in use, right?
We would like to follow it up via email and will provide a solution as soon as possible. Please kindly provide a screenshot of the Internet status on the BE230 via email. Thank you.

yes, without the fritzbox: ONT with cable to the WAN-Port of the BE230
[Update: okay, I received an email of you, so I answer that]
I can't find your email adress, so the screenshot (somtimes "Online Duration" counts up, sometimes not):
