MR505 loses connection
Hello
I set up a wifi mesh with Archer MR505 as 4g router and TL-WPA7817 for Powerline.
I don't know why the Archer every day loses internet connection: the WiFi is working fine, from the archer app looks everything fine (internet connection too) but every device have no internet connection through the WiFi.
Rebooting the Archer is solving the problem but it is really annoying.
Does anyone have some suggestions about what could it be?
Thank you

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
When the internet drops on Archer MR505, does any LED change on the router?
Is there any wired device connected to the router and can it get internet when the internet drops?
May I confirm how often the problem happens?
It is suggested to follow this guide to troubleshoot. And update firmware according to the official website if it is not the latest.
You may also contact local support for direct help.

Hello
Sorry for the late reply but I was making some test.
There is no led changing when the network drops.
Every device loses connection when network drops.
I have followed the guide for selecting the band, now it works better (drops less) but still drops sometimes.
My brother also bought this model and has the same problem with a different SIM provider and better signal than me.
Any advice?
Thank you

Hi, thanks for your update~
1. May I confirm the ISP of your SIM card and your brother‘s?
2. If you take the sim card out of the router and put it in your phone or another LTE device (on the same location), is the internet stable?
3. When the internet drops on the router, can you log into the web UI of the router? Please show us the screenshot of the Internet Status, and SIM Card Status referring to the guide. Compare the Network Type and Band, if they are the same as those when the internet is working fine.
4. When the internet drops, if the IP address is not 0.0.0.0, please try to change DNS following this guide.
