Bought the RE650(AC2600) to extend the WiFi range to summerhouse in garden, which is now my daughters home office for working from home. All appears fine, extender is switched off every evening. The laptop used to set up the extender now won't connect to the WiFi unless the extender is switched on??
Any ideas?? Switch extender back on it connects?? All other devices (phones, tablets, tv's) work wether the extender is on or not.
Any advice would be appreciated

Hi,

Did the RE650 use the same SSID as the main router?

When the RE650 Is switched off, are you able to manually choose the Wi-Fi of home router and get connected?

If possible, could you please trying to set up the IP address reservation for the laptop on the main router to see if that helped？
