Hi,  I've just purchased the Archer ax72 pro. I've connected a 2gbps connection to the 2.5gbps wan port. How do i give my pc the 2gbps connection through the gigabit lan port

If your ISP router is 2.5gbps capable as well as your PC, then this should probably work.

Archer shoud be in AP mode (disabled DHCP) and in this case the PC would take its IP address from the ISP router as well as all devices connected to the Archer.

You can't do that because AX72 Pro doesn't support LAG (link aggregation) - details.

Thanks. I thought of connecting the isp router to a 2.5gb switch then from the switch a wire to the pc and another to the Archer. I'd disable the dhcp on the Archer. I'm just wondering if the pc would show up on the Archer connected client list.  Would the Archer read the arp table of the isp router.
