My Harman Kardon speaker is wireless connected to one of my Deco x20 devices. When streaming audio from my smartphone this speaker stutters sometimes, while the other speaker (HK soundbar) keeps working correctly at the same time. I can see in the Deco-app that the speakers are connected all the time.

 

 

It seems this happens when my smartphone reconnects to the same device as my speaker, but that's not always the case.

 

 

At first I thought the speaker was the problem, so I returned it and got a new one. However, it does exactly the same thing.

 

It 5Ghz connected. And I doesn't matter if it's connected with or without the mesh technology.

 

Anyone with the same issue and solution?

How often/frequent would the streaming audio on the HK speaker stutter? 

If it can't be reproduced on a regular basis, I'm afraid it would be hard to locate the root cause, especially when the HK soundbar is somehow working well.

 

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. Disable "Fast Roaming" and "Beanforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

2. Turn off "Mesh Technology" for HK speaker.

3. Set a preferred Deco/WiFi band for the HK speaker:How to select a preferred signal source on the Deco App

Hello, 

Thank you for your response. I adjusted a few settings and tested for a few days. However, I don't notice much difference.

 

To answer your questions:

When I stay connected to the same device the speaker stutters also. It happens almost every day, but sometimes it is more worse than other days.

I can't reproduce it, I don't know what the cause is.

I have all ready turned off the Mesh technology, and I've also tried the preferred Deco/Wifi band. It all doesn't matter. 

Al last I turned off the fast roaming but I can't find the Beanforming.
