I found that disabling the Smart button allowing an option to switch between 2.4 and 5 ghz and setting to just 5 ghz inproved WIFI speed from 1-2 to aroud 20 mbps.

Hi,

 

You can disable Smart Connect and test the speeds separately on 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

 

If the speed on 2.4GHz is slow, try to change the channel and channel width. 

Besides, you can also confirm if there are many 2.4GHz devices that might be causing interference, like IOT devices, Bluetooth devices, or appliances like microwaves in your home.

  @Sunshine I would have thought the Smart connect feature would do this automaticaly otherwise what is the point of it.
