Just moved into a new (but very old) home and brought our old (ISP supplied) router which worked fine but didn't extend through some thick external walls or supply to the extents of the property.

i bought a Deco "Whole home powerline mesh wi-fi system" : AC1200+AV1000 Deco P9

First attempt setting up I thought I needed to set up the first Deco unit with an Ethernet from the original router - this didn't work and I needed to reset the d9 several times.

Today I saw an option to set up directly connecting to the fibre box and the master and first satellite d9 worked great using the two unused d9s. Unfortunately, setting up the final one  as a satellite (after originally trying to make it the master) isn't working at all.  I've reset it several times and the installation app on my phone isn't able to locate the final satellite. I've tried locating it in various places, including in the same room as the master and still nothing.

On top of that the internet doesn't seem particularly stable -  BBC iPlayer buffering like crazy, Netflix up and down... none of which was happening with the previous router.

I tried calling the support number via the app but the number is unobtainable.

any ideas please?

cheers...

Si

Hi,

Please reboot your phone and reset the 3rd Deco unit, then try to add this unit again.

And about the unstable issue, you can change to Google DNS and test again.
