Hi there,

Has some of the features regarding the IoT network been updated lately?

Reading through prior user comments, several exciting suggestions were made around a year ago about truly separating the devices on the IoT network from devices and communication on the "ordinary" network.

There is an ongoing debate in this part of the world about what devices one should use and how to check the origin of products to avoid using devices from unfriendly governments.

Having a genuinely separate IoT network could be a small step in assisting users from some bad code or behavior.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

It seems that Archer AXE75 V1 has supported IoT network already with latest firmware. Could you please check on its Web UI?

@Marvin_S Correct, the IoT is there, and I'm already using it for my IoT devices.

However, my question is related to questions in the user forum here about separating the devices on different wifi networks. Basically the quetions was about: Are devices on e.g. IoT wifi net able to interact with devices on the other wifi net?

Put differently, are the devices on the IoT net in thier own “box” or can a “virus” spread to other IoT devices - and to devices on the normal wifi net?

This is not clear from descriptions anywhere.

Have a nice day.
