BE900 V2 Wifi is connected but connection and IP, and internet keeps dropping
BE900 V2 Wifi is connected but connection and IP, and internet keeps dropping
Preface. Bought the router in Japan (V2 Japanese version) - all device are japanese domestic devices and my location is Japan as well.
Out of Box it has 1.05 as firmware, it was stable. After upgrading to 1.1.1 our Macs were disconnecting and dropping internet connection, sometimes signal is full (couple feet away but pages are not loading) - Reset the config and reset up again without any luck.
Here are the setup
1. Setup SSID as independent for each band (Only has 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz-1 on) both using fixed channel with no interference on channel (used Wifiman to check these) - MLO is disabled
2. Mac was Wifi 6 and Wifi 6e, both experience random connection drop, disabling WIFI and re-enabling it works
3. It did not effected the iOS and iPadOS devices, Windows and Android devices. Only specific to Mac laptops and iMac (we have total of 5 machines - All M1s)
I can't roll back to 1.05 firmware for some reason after upgrading to 1.1.1 - Upgrade was done thru Web panel and not manual download. Is there a way for me to roll back?
Please assist.

@Marvin_S could you share the solution so everyone experiencing the issue can benefit? I am having the same issue, two be900 set up in an easy mesh network, main router goes offline (LEDs show exclamation point) then reconnects 2 to 5 minutes later

Hi, I am afraid that your problems are not the same phenomenon. May I confirm some details to confirm your situation first?
1.What is the hardware and firmware version of your two BE900? Are they connected to each other wirelessly or via cable?
2. Who is your ISP and what is your exact network?
3. It is suggested to follow this guide to troubleshoot and share the detailed result here.

Both routers are be9300's identical firmware, 1.0.11, build 20240807, they are connected wirelessly with good signal.
Comcast modem is online (status lights are visable), primary router drops Internet, devices appear to stay connected without internet. Wired connections loose internet, but do not show wired network being disconnected.
Both routers show an exclamation point on the leds when the event happens.
This happens roughly every 24 hrs but not quite.
I didn't see a troubleshooting guide attached to your previous message

Hi, thanks for your update~
Sorry, not sure why the hyperlink disappeared, it is suggested to follow this guide to troubleshoot first next time the internet stops working on main router.
According to your description, the model of your router are both Archer BE550 instead of BE900. You may double-check on its bottom label.

@Marvin_S the model says Archer Be5500 and on the second line Be9300 Tri-band Wi-Fi7 router.
I have already completed the troubleshooting steps, it still disconnects.
My old netgear nighthawk runs without issue on the modem, I only upgraded to take advantage of Easy mesh with the wifi 7 backhaul.
Wired connections are all sound and cables work fine. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi, thanks for your further sharing~
May I confirm the model of your modem?
First, please try to change DNS servers on the main BE550.
If that does not work, it is suggested to take MAC clone on the main BE550 for a try.

Hi @Marvin_s. I changed the DNS servers, and I also disabled QOS based on another thread. I will update once it runs for a bit.
Modem is a Arris s33

OK, MAC clone is also very useful method to fix related issue sometimes, It is suggested to try it, too.
