Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.11

I am a user from Japan and the head of the IT department for a small to medium-sized company.

We have a Deco XE75 Pro set up in one location, but when we move it to a different site (such as a hotel), connect it to the LAN cable and power it on, the Deco light remains red, and our on-site staff report that it cannot connect to the internet.

I believe a factory reset and reinitializing the setup via the app would solve this, but we plan to repeat this setup process at various sites on a weekly basis.

Given the IT proficiency of our on-site staff, redoing the initial setup, including resetting the SSID name and password each time, would be challenging.

Since each location uses a different ISP, is there any way around this issue?

Hi, Welcome to the community.

After changing the location, you need to sign into the Deco APP via the previous set-up email account first, then connect to the Deco WiFi(this WiFI might not have internet access now but the Deco APP needs it to local access the Deco). After logging into the Deco APP again, you will find the configured Mesh network, then go to Deco APP>More>Internet connection to modify the internet credentials required by different ISPs.

Thank you very much and best regards.
