Hello, my tp link mr105 modem has a power adapter came along with the box rated as 9v and .85amps.

however, I accidentally used the power adapter of my other modem which is rated 12v and 1amps.

will my modem break? i used the incorrect adapter for about 30 minutes.

i immediately unplug it the moment i realize it.

I am now currently using the correct adapter, so far i has not noticed any unusual behavior, do i need to worry?

Hi,

Thanks for posting on TP-Link Community.

Using an unsuitable power supply for an extended period can potentially damage the router.

However, since you have switched back to the original power adapter, you can continue to use it normally without too much worry.
