I recently had an issue with my ISP supplied router which I normally operate in modem only mode.
The BE85 is set as my router, so when the modem reverted back to router mode with WiFi it completely borked my Deco network.
So, I effectively had two routers on the network at the same time. Unfortunately, this happened when I was away from home.
Is there any solution to stop the Deco passing through another router when modem mode fails?
You can keep ISP modem in router mode with its WiFi turned off (and/or its SSID different from Deco's WiFi), and configure Deco mesh to run in Access Point mode: Switching a Deco to Access Point (AP) Mode
Thank you for that suggestion.However, my network is 10Gbps so I don't use the ISP supplied device as router in the path.
Deco BE85 uses the 2.5Gbps WAN from my ISP modem then the Deco is connected to 10Gbps network infrastructure.
