Hello there,

i have some trouble getting this combination to work.

Old setup: FritzBox (provided by 1&1 Germany) has 2 LAN cables connected, one to the living room (for my PS5), the other to my old FritzBox in the office(the middle room of my house, so the best place for my Wifi router) for working from home via LAN(company policy states no WiFi) .

FritzMesh was working fine with these both Routers

New Setup: as the old FritzBox died and I had to rebuild my network nontheless, I now bought an Archer AX23 thats located in the office now. To reach all of the house i bought 2 RE200v5 (one near the FritzBox7560, the other in my hobby room for some extended range to this side of the house). both REs are in the OneMesh configuration.

First try was killing the WiFi and DHCP in the Fritzbox, configuring the archer as exposed host and building the network all around the archer, this worked just ok, but far from fine.

I had a problem with a too wide submask, frequent downtimes, wierd ping spikes in onlinegaming, my PS5 was not able to get a LAN connection, so i had to use WiFi... all in all, not the best experience.

Today i was triing to get it working on another approach. in the fritzbox Ienabled DHCP, stop the exposed host and reconfigured the archer in AP mode,... now this fixed some of the issues, until i realized the REs arent working in Mesh when the Archer is in AP...

Can anybody help with a Configuration on this topography?
