Model: Archer BE6500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20240710 rel.82024(5553)

So i just got a BE6500 Wifi 7 router,

1. I have a gigabit connection. on Ethernet directly and via BE6500 router download/upload perfect 1000mbps+ (1020-1050mbps)
2. On Wifi 5ghz band (smart band disabled) max speed of ~380mbps on 7 different clients. (speed same for each)
3. I could understand client limitation of bandwidth, but when 2 clients test simultaneously speed drops to half for each - 180-190mbps, and ~90mbps when 4 test simultaneously. Considering it has wider bandwidth that shouldn't happen. attached screenshots of configuration

Hi,

How much link speed can you get when you test 5G wireless speed?

Please make sure that when you test the 5G speed, no other devices are performing high-bandwidth activities that may affect the speed test results.

@Sunshine linkspeed is 1200mbps, I tested with just single device and then just two devices, as soon as I switch ethernet speed is 1000mbps+. But switching to wifi is 400mbps max, but big issue is router is maxing out at 400mbps, so if I connect two devices and do speed test or do downloading it's now 190-200mbps only for each, I tested on 4 laptops, 1 desktop, 1 pixel 9 pro, iphone 15 pro max, samsung s23 ultra, switched devices randomly multiple times. Maxing out bandwidth shouldn't happen. Even if I connect devices if wifi 2.5 and wifi 5 said still same result. I also enabled MLO still same result.
