Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.4 Build 20240306 rel.66339(5553)

Hello!

I'm thinking of building an easymesh here in the house so I ask the community what would be the correct setup.

I'm on scenario 1 right now and trying to make up my mind if 2 and/or 3 will work.

In scenario 2 from router (1) to (2) would be LAN - WAN ports is that correct?

I appreciate the comments, thank you.

Since the ISP modem is in bridge mode you should use Scenario 2.

  @terziyski Tks for the info.

Can you say if the router and easymesh modes are correct for scenario 2? Also I'd be plugging in the WAN of router 2?

Yes, they are correct - that's why I didn't comment on these.

Dears I have a similar question. My configuration is scenario 3. But my ISP modem is not in bridge mode. Is there a way to configure a route inside the ISP modem so both ax73 and re505x would see each other? Thanks

I would suggest to open your own thread for more clarity on your request.

If your ISP modem is not in bridge mode the AX73 and RE505x would see each other without setting a route in the ISP modem.

But if you plan is to use these in mesh then topology 3 it won't work for you - you should use topology 2.

In this case you'll introduce a double NAT in your network.
