Hello,
I want to remotely manage my router over internet. My router model is TL-WR820N. I have enabled it through the following process-
Advanced-> System-> Administration-> Remote Management
My wan ip was mentioned there, i tried with the port number also but no result, error page was showing. I have changed the port number and same result.

Note:
1. Pinging from internet on WAN ip was - request timed out.
2. Pinging on WAN ip from same network was successful attempt but router log in page was in accessible.

3. My wan WAN Ip was a Class A Ip address.

How can i remotely manage my router over internet?

Regards
RBot

The only solution is to contact your ISP and ask if they can arrange that your receive your publuc IP address on your router WAN port.

This usually happens when you're behind a CG-NAT or for some reason your router WAN IP address is a private IP address (double NAT).

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

Here's the guide for configuring the remote management via router's WebGUI.

The reason that you can't access your router could be that  your router WAN IP address is not your public IP address.

Your public IP address can be found by opening https://ping.eu in a web browser.

If this IP address doesn't match your router WAN IP address the remote management won't work.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

@terziyski the two IPs are different, in this case is there any solution to control remotely? Or can you tell me the problem behind it?
