Deco X50-5G constantly going down throughout the day, 3-5 times a day
My Deco X50-5G has been plagued with the issue where it will constantly go down throughout the day and needs to be rebooted.
Why are we not getting more firmware updates to fix the issue? It has been ongoing since previous firmware versions.
I'm not a technical person and don't know what's wrong. Was browsing the error log and saw this. Is this omething to be worried about?

@David-TP Is the unit defective? Seems to be fan issue.

I can confirm I also get multiple disconnections per day, which is unfortunate as I work from home and have multiple meetings per day.
This has been an on-going issue through all firmware versions. I have attached my logs too.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
The latest firmware for Deco X50-5G is 1.1.7 and have you tried to install this version to see whether it helped improve the network stability?
Deco X50-5G(EU)_V1_1.1.7 Build 20240809
It is also suggested to set the network mode to "4G only".
If 1.1.7 didn't help, could you please send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with the following details:
1. the SIM carrier.
2. Would Deco X50-5G turn red during the disconnection?
3. Please save some pictures of the following settings when Deco X50-5G dropped out again.
- A screenshot of the Internet settings.
- A screenshot after clicking the "Additional Information"
- A copy of the system log from the web UI.(please do not reboot Deco before saving the logs)-Deco web interface login
Thanks again and best regards.
Wait for your reply.

Hi, I noticed your Deco X50-5G is on 1.1.7 already and have you tried to set the network mode to "4G only" to see whether it helps stablize the connection?
If not, could you please also help me send the requested details via email?
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP Hi there. I have continuously checked my local TP-Link product page support for the latest firmware but the one you shared have not been made available. I wouldn't dare to simply install those that are not meant for my region (Malaysia).

As for email to support, I have emailed with my logs but I'm being ghosted. Been 3 days and no reply since the last one where the person asked me about my telco details. Can you PM me your email so that I can CC you on that the next round?

@David-TP Can the firmware you gave the link be installed on my unit since mine here shows Deco X50-5G(US)_V1_1.1.5 Build 20240419 which is US firmware instead of the one you gave Deco X50-5G(EU)_V1_1.1.7 Build 20240809 which is EU firmware.
Can they be intermixed?

Hi, yes, the EU and US of Deco X50-5G could share the same download link and during firmware upgrade, it will automatically abstract the correct bin file based on the embedded region code.
By the way, I have sent the email and did you receive it?
Best regards.

@David-TP Hey thank you just saw the email now. Been busy haven't been able to check or update the firmware yet.
I'll give it a try with the latest firmware and observe for a few days.
