BE85 (BE22000) MLO Issue with iPhone 16 pro(WiFi7)
BE85 (BE22000) MLO Issue with iPhone 16 pro(WiFi7)
Hi, TP Link users.
I am using the TP Link BE85 (BE22000) in Japan.
When I connect the recently released iPhone 16 Pro to the BE85 using MLO, a problem occurs.
When connected via MLO, all other devices connected on 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz are disconnected.
Of course, the iPhone 16 Pro also gets disconnected.
Then, my entire home network goes down for several minutes.
This only happens when the iPhone 16 Pro is connected to the BE85 using MLO.
The issue does not occur when the iPhone 16 Pro is connected to 2.4GHz, 5GHz, or 6GHz individually.
Multiple users on Japanese forums have also reported similar symptoms.
TP Link support in Japan says this is an iOS 18 issue.
However, I suspect this issue might be occurring only with BE85 units in Japan.
Have any users in other countries encountered a similar problem?

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
The issue has been addressed and there will be an official version released like Deco BE85 soon.
Currently, A beta version is available as a workaround. If you'd like to test the beta firmware, you can find it in the private message.
Thanks again and best regards.

After 2 months of waiting for update, still no stable one released for japanese BE65 with MLO fix. I have a new iPhone 16 Pro, but scared to use MLO coz this bug.

Hi, Nice to see you again.
I remember the first time you commented here about this issue, I've confirmed with the engineer that Deco BE65_V1_1.0.8 doesn't have this issue.

Almost all the feedbacks here are about Deco BE85, a few are Deco BE75. And for now, the official fixes have been released for both Deco BE85 and BE75.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP Ah, my bad, it was "should not be affected". Just tried to connect to MLO SSID and it works. Solved then, thank You!
