I am attempting to access/port forward my TP Link Deco X55 Router but was told on Chat that it can ONLY be done via the APP on my phone. This is quite simply stupid and I am dumbfounded that this would be the case. If it is I am going to return it as that is unacceptable to me. I know there is a router manager avaliable as I was able to find a link to it but it says that I can't access the TP link network?????

If you need Web management interface, you should return Deco and try different WiFi mesh. With Deco, it is only through the app on smartphone.

I feel your pain, I am old school Web/cli management interface type of person, but I got used to Deco. Unless you need to make changes often, you go through Deco app once or twice and then just forget about it.
