However, by configuring a AX55 V1 in access point (AP) mode (main router), it will be possible to use the two AX58 units as EasyMesh satellites, with an Ethernet backhaul to ensure a stable and fast connection. This way, all three devices will operate as Wi-Fi access points, offering intelligent inter-AP roaming management through EasyMesh technology, allowing seamless transitions between access points. 

Moreover, the router provided by my ISP will remain the only device handling IP routing across the entire network.

@davidperrin1 So you have three TP-Link EasyMesh routers, 1*AX55V1 and 2*AX58V2.

 

If that’s the case, you can configure the AX55 V1 in AP Mode to serve as the EasyMesh main unit, then add the AX58 V2 to the EasyMesh network using an Ethernet backhaul as per topo 3.
