Hi,

I use this router with 4G to be able to access some computers remotely.

Each time I restart the router, the public IP change. I think it is normal since my 4G provider does not propose "full stack" static IP.

Anyway, when I am connected locally, I am able to find the new public IP in the router interface at 192.168.1.1.

On the other hand, I am able to contact and check my router with the Tether app (on iphone) from anywhere via Internet, but I didn't know how to find the router public IP adress remotely. I did not find this information in the Tether app.

You could go to Tether app > tools > internet connection to check the internet ip address.

thanks, but here is what I get.

i don't see any public IP and the interface is in "read-only" mode.

I'm sorry that I overlooked the difference between the APP pages of 4G LTE routers and regular wireless routers. The APP of the 4G router does not display the internet IP address.
But you could set up DDNS to suit your needs:

Is there a technical reason why the APP of the 4G router does not display the internet IP address?

Could you please explain why the public IP adress is not exposed on the app interface?

Can it be added in a future version or is there a technical/security reason for not show it?!
