Hello,

I have recently purchased an Archer MR600 as the main and only modem router for my home network (I'm connected to the internet via LTE).

From the specs I can see that it supports up to 64 wireless clients (32 on each band), but I was wondering about how many clients it does support via Ethernet.

Is there and hard limit as in WiFi or the limit is given by the available IPs in subnet?

If I disable WiFi and connect an external AP via ethernet that supports 128 clients (but keep using MR600 DHCP server) will I be able to connect them all?

Also what about OneMesh devices or range extenders? The clients connected to the extender network do not count towards the 32+32 limit?

Thanks!

Hi,

There is no hard limit like wireless connection if you connect via Ethernet cable.

If you set up OneMesh, the clients that connect to the extender will not count towards the 32+32 limit.
